Oh my gosh, I remember that track! Oh my gosh, I am OLD!!! lol--I seem to remember that later on a grocery store was built on or near that plot of land, which was fairly close to ANN & HOPE
We used to visit the remains in the 60s as kids. I remember a friend falling off the nearby train tressel into the river, his last name was Burns. He didn't get hurt bad. Cop named Bernie Hughes came by out of nowhere and went in and got him.
It became almacs supermarket later and also my father told me a place called Moonies beach was nearby strange how you would never know this now as it's a stop.n slop with lame stores now
would like to see more pictures of Lonsdale if possible.
