Shepard's Department Store

I've had this photo a few years. I found it tucked in a book I bought
in a used book store somewhere along the way.
It's a shot of a Shepard's Department Store Outing.
It appears to have been taken in front of the Old Stone Building
(I could wrong on that). I would have to guess 1940's maybe early 1950's.

  1. I've been searching for anyone who might have information on the Reflex Photo Studio that used to be in the Shepard's Department Store. They held a National Photograph contest in 1965 and I'm interested in speaking with someone regarding that.

  3. We used to meet at the Shepard's Clock, a landmark. But the bus stopped in front of the Outlet on Weybosset, so that was the primary meeting spot.

  7. Its too bad that most stores that even I really liked had to close like Caldor as an example. If money was not such an asset to everyone that would have never happened.
