  1. The Taco Maker on Thayer Street was the best.

It was a little slice of heaven after a night of heavy drinking. Their hot sauce was awesome!!!

  4. I still crave me some yummy Taco Maker. I remember eating there after gigs sometimes. Everything was wrapped in tin foil. Good greasy stuff!

  5. Taco Maker on Thayer Street was the best.. Friday nights clubbing downtown, Shooters, then head to the taco Maker for some soft flour tacos and crustos.

  6. I remember getting "elevated" as a teenager one night with a buddy, then heading straight to Taco Maker and chowing down six of their famously greasy tacos, which were very satisfying, especially under the circumstances. Another time we went through the drive-thru, placed our order, then having the woman at the window - who had obviously worked in diners, rattle it off: "Two tacs, an ench, two cows, travelin'". Too funny!

  9. About four years ago, my wife and I were travelling to the Caribbean when we saw a Taco Maker in the terminal at MarĂn International Airport in San Juan. Same logo and everything.

  10. How I miss Taco Maker! I did get to have it again in 2007 when I went to Las Vegas. They had a Taco Maker in the airport and I was overjoyed to taste it again after many years!

  12. There used to be a Taco Maker in Orange, CT I used to go to in 2006 and yes it blew Taco Bell away! Miss it and were stuck with Taco Bell.

  13. The Airport Road Taco Maker was previously occupied by Jack In the Box. The other popular location on the same road was Lums. Loved going to both.
