ADAMS DRUGS

ADAMS DRUGS
- Chain drugstore - many locations all over RI,
later it was taken over by BROOKS.

Pawtucket base Adams Drug Company, a family owned
operation which was founded in 1932 by the Salmanson Family.
Adams, at one point, acquired several stores under the Brooks
Drug banner in Vermont and New York, and also operated stores
under several other different trade names throughout the Northeast.

    1. I remember that one. Actually, Adams was next to Star Market and Star Market was attached to Zayre. On the other side of Adams Drugs was Radio Shack, which is the only original store still there.
