KINNEY SHOES, opened 1918. - Known as America's Shoe Store
it had several locations throughout Rhode Island. Sadly it closed in 1998
due to financial difficulties.

    This seems interesting. I do not know why they would not show stuff like this on the History Channel. But they should have.
