ReplyDeleteI remember Mee Hong's. When I was a very young girl, they had some kind of scandal. Rumors of serving cat, instead of chicken in their recipes.
ReplyDeleteI think it was the Hon Hong's across from the Majestic that closed because of the cats, later the Player's Corner Pub (loved their food).

I don't remember that one, and I worked at the Air Force Recruiting office on the Mall from 82-86. Maybe it was closed by then.
