Long before Americans had McDonalds, there was the White Tower chain!
Famous For Great 35¢ Hamburgers. It Closed In The Late 70’s...
the Waitress’s Dressed Like Nurses and were dubbed the "Towerettes".

  1. I remember seeing the abandoned building when I started college in Providence in 1980. It must have been a fun place.

  3. This was built on the site of my great great grandfather's house. Andrew Cooper and Sarah Cooper came here from England in the mid 1800's, built a house on this site, and raised a large family. After they died, the house was torn down and the White Tower was built. Wish I could have seen the way it looked a hundred years ago.
