Still using the white lacquered stand I bought there for my son's room. Now it holds my stereo and CDs. Would love to know how to replace/fix the gold foil trim. It still looks brand new - well worth the money.
I've still got my bedroom set from their; I bought in 1979 with payments. I had a coupon book that I would send in a page with a check each month. Lol, I think it was about 18 dollars a month.
My parents bought our first color television from Penn TV and Furniture. It was a big deal to own a color t.v. I can still picture that television which of course was a console t.v.
You didn't dare mention this place to my Dad. He thought they overcharged.
ReplyDeleteMy father worked there for 30 years. Serviceman: Rick Dunn. Died 1/4/2011. I used to play Christmas carols for Joe Penn on my accordion. Rick Dunn Jr.
