CARVEL ICE CREAM
provided many happy memories for Rhode Islanders through the years.
Fudgie the Whale and Cookiepuss were always a welcome site
at a birthday party or holiday. All the RI locations are now closed,
Cranston being the last to fold in February 2009.
The novelties and cakes can still be purchased at supermarkets
and even at a concession stand at the Providence Dunkin Donuts Center
(formerly known as the Civic Center)
