The Sanmartino Sister's are thieves just like their father who went to jail. I brought my mother there in Dec. of 1989 to have a new setting made for her diamond which was of very high quality, and very large. They switched the diamond. There was a reason they went out of business!
Well i must say i had a setting made around the same time i still have it today mounting a Diamond i found in the drain catch in a house i was remodeling it appraised for about 1600 not big but very clean stone.Whoever did the job was right on the money and did it for 85 dollars,a man's setting. The reason i was looking was to see if they were still around.
Please do your research before calling people crooks and thieves. Your remarks are all ignorant and poisoned against a family that was so highly acclaimed in RI- and there was a reason why they were so popular. Walter Sammartino was nothing but an absolute joy and honest man to be around. His character, (if you really knew the man)speaks infinitely louder then gossip. You would only be so privileged to speak and laugh with this man. Even if you presume you may know the truth behind Diamonds by Sammartino, you DON'T, and probably never will. Please save your trash talk for another time, you anonymous coward.
