Yes, you're right. Seafood chains don't last long in R.I. Red Lobster closed up. Why go to a chain for seafood when we can get all the fresh fish we want at the local mom & pop places?
There was one in South Attleboro, MA on rte 123 right in between where it crosses rte 1 and rte 1A. It's a D'Angelo's now but they still have the lamppost shaped sign out front.

ReplyDeleteThere was an Arthur Treacher's Fish and Chips on West Boylston Street in Worcester, Mass in the late 70s. The same building now houses the Papa Ginos.
