Charlie & Roger were the best. Like uncles to me. They were 2 of my dads very best friends. I remember when I was young talking Roger on the CB Radio he called himself Yellow Bird Shit and it use to make me laugh so hard. I had many dates there as a teen as well. Funny they use to make a steak sandwich for my dad that was a whole loaf of bread and 2 dinner sized NY Strip steaks inside. Freaking Hilarious. So may fond family memories there.
The waiters were great Pierre and henry and the cheese and relish tray pre dinner unreal. Loved the veal parmigiana and steak mama a bygone era things will never be as good.
