KENT THEATRE
KENT THEATRE, was located in East Greenwich.
Opened after World War II.. It was originally the location
of the USO Recreational Facility.
- Summer 1970 went from a single-screen to a tri-plex
Closed early 90’s and the building was demolished 1995.

The place to be on a Friday night. Run by the Erinakes family. They also owned the Greenwich and the Hilltop Drive Inn.
ReplyDeleteI worked there for Mrs E! Loved that theater; the man who ran the reels upstairs was so kind. I remember seeing The Shining a hundred times, and the audience always LAUGHED at the scary parts!
