  6. I grew up next door to the Original Scuncio Chevrolet. Our address was 483 Douglas Avenue, so Scuncio Chevrolet was probably 481 Douglas Ave. John Scuncio was the eldest and Brother to my Grandmother Angelina Scuncio- Ricci. Uncle John's son was Joe Scuncio Sr. He was Commissioner of Police for the State of Rhode Island as well as owning the dealership. Cousin Joe's children inherited Scuncio Chevrolet when he passed.

    2. I worked there from 1973 until 1981 or so. Detailed cars, emptied trash, plowed snow, took care of the new car inventory. Scuncio Chev was where I fell in love with Corvettes. I finally could afford one in 1990 and have had one ever since. I loved that job, the Scuncios and the Coppolas treated me like family!
